DRIVER ISSUES HAVE BEEN RESOLVED AS OF AIRPARROT FOR MAC VERSION 1.6. UPDATING AND INSTALLING THE INCLUDED DRIVERS WILL RESOLVE ANY ISSUES AND ALLOW YOU TO USE AIRPARROT WITHOUT ISSUE.


Unfortunately these issues are related to a bug with Apple's Nvidia drivers on some MacBooks. We're patiently awaiting a fix from Apple.

 

The following Macs will have this issue when using the External Display driver in AirParrot:

  • MacBookPro5,1 MacBook Pro (15/17-inch, Late 2008, Early 2009, Mid 2009) NVIDIA GeForce 9400M
  • MacBookPro5,2 MacBook Pro (17-inch, Early 2009) NVIDIA GeForce 9400M
  • MacBookPro5,3 MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2009) NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT and GeForce 9400M
  • MacBookPro5,4 MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2,53 GHz, Mid 2009), NVIDIA GeForce 9400M
  • MacBookPro5,5 MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2009) NVIDIA GeForce 9400M
  • MacBookPro6,1MacBook Pro (17-inch, Mid-2010) Intel HD Graphics/NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M
  • MacBookPro6,2 MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid-2010) Intel HD Graphics/NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M
