• Optimize For - This setting should be left untouched unless instructed to do otherwise by our support team. This setting allows Reflector to force a certain resolution to enhance performance. The "Any Device" setting automatically uses the best resolution for your device.
  • AirPlay Name - This setting changes the broadcast name of your computer. This is the name that will show in your iDevice's list of available AirPlay receivers.
  • Security - This feature allows you to choose between implementing your own password or using a randomly generated Onscreen Code. Both options prevent unwanted Mirroring sessions.
  • Password - If you choose to use your own password for security reasons, this area is where you will want to enter that password.
  • On Connection - Checking the "Launch Fullscreen" option will launch any new inbound connections in fullscreen mode. Checking "Always on Top" option will cause the mirrored image to be on top of all other windows. Checking "Prevent system shutdown when device is connected" will prevent the computer from restarting while a mirroring session is active.
  • Client Name - This feature will display the name of your iOS device at the top of your Mirrored image. Choosing “Don’t Show” will disable this. Choosing “Always Show” will display your iOS device’s name. Choosing “Show & Hide” will display your iOS device’s name at the beginning of the session, and then disappear after a couple of seconds.
  • Fullscreen Background - Chose any solid color to use when mirroring in fullscreen mode. Alternatively, chose to use your desktop background when in full screen mode.
  • Current FPS - This indicates the quality of network connection. The number shown is your current frames per second. A connection must be established to see this.
