This article tells you where the Ditto receiver app is located on your Windows device and how to change its location.
You may notice that the Ditto Windows Receiver application does not create a desktop shortcut after installation on your Windows machine. This is because the Ditto Windows Receiver application uses App Installer (.appinstaller) and MSIX (.msix) package types.
These package types are a modern packaging format in Windows that prioritize security, reliability and system integrity. A key reason they do not create desktop shortcuts by default is Microsoft’s packaging guidelines and security model.
