Many people ask us if they can show or record on-screen taps with Reflector. They want to be able to show where they are tapping on their device. This would be ideal for demos and tutorials.
The ability to show on-screen taps is device-specific. For instance, iOS devices like iPhone and iPad do not have an option to show device taps. However, Android users who enable developer options on their devices can turn on the Show Touches option. This will enable the display of touch events on Android devices, and this will show up in your mirroring or recording of these devices.
iPadOS tip
Users running iPadOS on an iPad can wirelessly connect a mouse and show on-screen clicks. It's a good alternative to showing on-screen taps.
